After a decade of ownership, original Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel is ready to part with her Bridgehampton property; per Robb Report, the New York abode landed on the market yesterday for just under $6 million. It helps that the Skinnygirl founder has already upgraded to another, larger home in the Hamptons, which comes with a private path right down to a beach on Shinnecock Bay. According to Behind the Hedges, Frankel spent $5.45 million on her new summer pad almost a year ago, but the purchase went unnoticed until the reality TV personality shared a glimpse of it on Instagram in May.
Frankel bought her longtime Bridgehampton home in 2013 for $2 million, then scooped up a smaller house next door for $650,000 and combined them into one estate, with a roughly 2,500-square-foot main shingle-style house and a 600-square-foot one-bedroom guest cottage. In total, the combined properties span three-quarters of an acre. The main house holds four bedrooms and three bathrooms. An outdoor kitchen, a spacious bluestone patio, and a pool house with an additional half bath are all found in the landscaped backyard.

A sunroom with a vaulted ceiling, a well-equipped kitchen with a big eat-in island, a sunlit dining area, and a fireplace-warmed living room make up the cozy common areas that the self-proclaimed homebody renovated during her tenure.
Frankel’s Southampton dwelling that she bought last year spans 3,500 square feet and has four bedrooms and an equal number of baths. “This is a dream house. It was a find and it was a renovation,” the NYC native told her Instagram followers. Frankel is not one to shy away from the challenge of customizing a home’s existing features to spin it into a new space. “It’s like taking plain hummus and adding lemon zest and herbs. Now it’s yours,” the reality star explained when AD toured her SoHo loft in 2018.
